Dialogue Squared comes down this Tuesday and I'm busy prepping my studio for the next phase of the series. My yard is so freakin' fertile right now but I constantly find myself drawn to the spaces in between (where you can see that weird shape of sky between the branches or the dirt between the roots.)
I love that idea of analyzing the whole and then blotting out elements, experimenting with where the content is: the object or the stuff around the object? I'm getting great inspiration from John Baldessari these days. I am challenging myself to mess with the preciousness.
